I keep my body under control and make it my slave, so I won’t lose out after telling the good news to others. 1 Corinthians 9:27 (CEV)

It will hold on Facebook on my page, Dr Andy Kwakpovwe. Search to like the page or Click HERE to like the page now. Singles. now read today’s devotional below.

Self discipline is a lesson you, a user of this devotional must learn again and again. HEAR THIS: If you can’t control yourself now that you are single, neither can you when you get married. A discontented single will end up as a discontented married person.

Your present season of singleness is given to you by God to cultivate the character you need to become a successful spouse. I have seen many singles that see the married life as an escape route from the hold of sexual pressure.

If you cannot control yourself as a Christian single now, neither can you when you get married. If you are dating a someone who is already cheating on you, get ready for excess of that cheat after you marry. Build self control now. Cultivate it now or you will never know what it means to be a faithful spouse.

REMEMBER THIS: Adultery is the result of an undisciplined single who thought marriage was an escape rout to sexual promiscuity.

PEN THIS DOWN: Your lack of self control in this your season of singleness will cost you far more than what you can bargain for.

Self-disciplined begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don’t control what you think, you can’t control what you do. Self-discipline enables you to think first and act afterward.

Self-discipline is a form of freedom. Self-discipline allows you to feel your individuality, your inner strength, your talent. You become a master of, rather than a slave to your thoughts and emotions. If you want to reach the top in life, you must learn how to control yourself so you can maximize your singles.

Now that you are single, you must hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody else expects of you. Never excuse yourself. Never pity yourself. Be a hard master to yourself-and be lenient to everybody else.

Someone said, “The man who does not shrink from self-crucifixion can never fail to accomplish the object upon which his heart is set. This is true of earthly as of heavenly things.

Even the man whose object is to acquire wealth must be prepared to make great personal sacrifices before he can accomplish his object; and how much more so he who would realize a strong and well-poised life.

A man without decision of character can never be said to belong to himself. He belongs to whatever can make captive of him.”Take this your single season to cultivate sound discipline. God bless you.
